Gleaning with Green Things Farm Collective and Food Gatherers

- Up to 1.5 hours of outdoor work, rain or shine
- Light to moderate physical labor: lifting (up to 35 lbs), bending, walking on uneven ground
- Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty; bring water
- Tools, training, and support provided by Green Things team members
- Porta-potty, outdoor handwashing, and potable water on site
- Parking will be limited, carpooling encouraged

Park in the front grass lot and walk down the lane along the hoop house to the south end of the large red barn. We meet at the red barn promptly at 10 am for handwashing and waiver signing. Late arrivals: wash hands at the first door on the right inside the barn and join us in the fields. There will be a native plant sale hosted by Feral Flora happening-feel free to stop by and shop. Refreshments, fresh produce, local snacks, and more are available for purchase in our farmstand 8am-8pm. This event is 18+. Participants volunteer at their own risk and agree to follow all posted safety guidelines. No Food Gatherers staff on site.
