Thrift Field Trip

Want to go thrifting with your friends while also getting to learn a bit more about reducing your clothing and textile waste? Join Zero Waste Club on Saturday, September 26th at 11:30am to head over to Kiwanis Thrift Sale for a fun thrifting field trip! Kiwanis staff will give participants a tour of the store, explain the environmental impacts of shopping sustainably, and allow participants to thoroughly explore the store and all the hidden gems they may find! The group will meet at Shapiro Library at 11:30 am, depart by 11:45, and arrive at Kiwanis around noon. The group will take vans together to minimize carbon emissions that would come from separately driving.
