If a growler isn't practical, choose aluminum cans over glass bottles or plastic-wrapped six-packs. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable and has the highest recycling rate of any packaging material.

Buy a reusable glass or stainless steel growler and fill it at your local brewery or taproom. A 64oz growler costs about $15-25 and can be refilled indefinitely. You save on packaging waste and often get fresher, cheaper beer.
