Live Zero Waste and The Washtenaw Zero Waste Coalition are inviting you to join us on the second annual Trash Talk Tour! The tour will feature a number of events and a self paced tour of Ann Arbor’s zero waste economy!

Events:

• Michigan Stadium Cleanup Demonstration 8:30am-9:30am [Reserve a Spot]
• Recycling Plant (MRF) Demonstration: 10am-12pm [Reserve a Spot]
• Self Guided Tour through Ann Arbor’s zero waste economy including composting facility, Kiwanis Thrift Sale, refill stores and more! 12pm – 4:00 pm

During this fun FREE, family-friendly, self-guided event you will see what happens to your trash, recyclables, and compost after you “throw it away.”

You will meet people and visit places that are innovating to reduce throwaway culture in our community.

See how U of M, Zingerman’s, Ann Arbor Public Schools, city and county government, local retailers and nonprofits are innovating waste reduction for the love of our planet.  There will be friendly people ready to answer your questions at many of the stops.
